Supplies needed:
- A sketchbook (at least 8.5”x 11”)
- One #2 pencil
- Pencil sharpener
All other materials will be provided.
Course Description:
This course is designed for the person who says, "I'm not an artist; I can't draw; I was never very good at art", or for those who have spent their lives nurturing others and now realize it is time to nurture themselves with a creative activity.
This course will cover the basics of contour drawing, basic forms, value shading, portraits, gestures, and perspective. Students will discover sketching is relaxing, liberating, and not as difficult as it may appear.
